Parcels to Places Competition
Parcels to Places is a pilot program, showcasing creative ideas and strategies for transforming Columbus' vacant land into an asset that contributes to community needs. Entrants were tasked with proposing innovative uses for City of Columbus Landbank vacant properties, with winning proposals selected based on originality, capacity to implement and community benefit.
NDC, as manager of the competition, coordinated the request for qualifications and applications submitted, organized the review process for the selection of proposals, and assisted in administering grant awards. Parcels to Places is made possible through partnerships with The Ohio Capital Corporation for Housing (OCCH), The City of Columbus, The Columbus Foundation and The Affordable Housing Trust for Columbus and Franklin County (AHT).
