NDC Welcomes Board Changes for 2021

Along with welcoming in the new year, the Neighborhood Design Center welcomed a new board president this year, Carmine Russo, and two new members to the Board of Directors. Carmine, a partner at the landscape architecture firm Realm Collaborative, is an experienced leader in the design of the urban realm. He has led multiple projects for world-class leaders in healthcare institutions, and has worked on major urban transportation projects as well as corporate, commercial and civic assignments.

After joining the board in 2018, NDC is excited to welcome Carmine into this leadership role with the organization. Other changes in leadership include Nick Bankston moving into the role of board vice president and Leah Evans in the role of Member-at-Large. Previously with the City of Columbus, Nick is now CEO of the Gladden Community House in Franklinton. Leah serves as Vice President of Real Estate Development for Homeport.
New board members include Jennifer Walton, Marketing Executive with Nationwide Insurance, and Kerry Charles, Journalist with NBC4 WCMH. NDC is pleased to welcome these new additions and look forward to the wealth of experience and expertise they bring as NDC furthers initiatives that create stronger communities in Central Ohio.
